Visa Section

Welcome to the visa section of our web site. Information in this section falls into one of two categories, depending on whether it relates to non-immigrant visas or to immigrant visas.

In the non-immigrant visa section you can find information on the Visa Waiver Program(VWP), help with determining whether you need a visa to travel to the U.S. temporarily, learn about the different types of visa, and find instructions for applying for a visa. 

In the immigrant visa section you can find more information about how it may be possible to live permanently in the U.S. through your family or your employer, and about the diversity visa lottery program.

Please note that all visa services are provided at the Consulate General in Auckland.  No visa services are available at the Embassy in Wellington.
